It’s critical that all gift, loyalty, and phone cards manufactured and distributed to retail locations have no duplicate cards, are in the right numeric sequence, have an accurate item count, have matching barcode and magnetic stripe numbers, and represent the correct dollar value on each card. ScanGuard® checks that each number assigned to a batch of cards matches a master database and that all cards are in perfect numeric sequence.
ScanGuard® begins by protecting a retailer’s account records, ordering, and shipping data. Our proprietary ScanGuard® software uses OCR scanning to track every customer’s order right down to each ID number on every card. We make sure that there’s never a duplicate or missing number in the system. Our scanning and software tracks each card throughout the manufacturing process – from card encoding to packing to shipment.
Whether it’s a single card, or a shipping pallet – every card, sleeve, and carton is accounted for to maintain inventory integrity for our customers’ order.
